Tring is a small picturesque market town nestled in the Chiltern Hills. We’re visiting the Natural history museum, and you can explore the town, have lunch in one of Tring’s pubs. Before we come home, we will stop off at Tring’s garden centre.

Wednesday 8th - Bhaktivedanta Manor (Hare Krishna) & Burston Garden Centre
Bhaktivedanta Manor is a very serene and tranquil setting in Aldenham. George Harrison donated the Manor building and estate he particularly wanted Krishna devotees to have the benefit of the peaceful garden surroundings to meditate on Krishna. The manor has five acres of ornamental gardens, lawns and woodland surround the main house. Following our visit to the Manor, we travel to Burston Garden Centre on the outskirts of St. Albans.

Monday 13th -– Garden Centre Trail !!
We’re off to two garden centres, in the West Drayton area, come and see if you can pick up some plants and other Christmas items. First to Rural Activities Centre and then to Ansell Garden Centre for lunch at the restaurant. Both have lots to see and cafés to enjoy.

Monday 20th – Greenwich Christmas Market
Greenwich Market offers an amazing Christmas shopping experience. Dozens of stalls and shops have on display an array of unique gifts, like vintage maps, decor, linen, antiques, jewellery and apparel. British designer-makers showcase their beautiful items created to impress and to inspire: handmade candles, leather accessories, homeware, and one-of-a-kind art. Stroll through the stalls and then relax with a glass of warm mulled wine for a full experience!

Friday 24th - Botany Bay Farm & Shop + Crews Hill Garden Centre
Botany Bay Farm is situated in Botany Bay, a hamlet on the northern outskirts of Enfield. A family run, 75 acre working farm is home to an array of wildlife including a herd of alpacas, bees. The farm has a busy shop selling local produce from fresh eggs to jams, honey, and even Alpaca woven products!! Then onto Crews Hill Garden Centre for lunch and to shop for your Autumn garden and indoor plant needs.

Monday 27th - South Bank Christmas Market
A unique market in the shadow of the London Eye. The Traditional German Christmas market offers the sights and smells of Germany with gifts of all kinds, food & drink all available from authentic wooden Deutsche market chalets.
