Welcome to Harrow Community Transport
30 years of Dedication - The History of Local charity Harrow Community Transport
Harrow Community Transport has compiled a history of our service which has been providing accessible transport since the 1970s to older and disabled Harrow residents and community groups, helping them to get out and about around the borough and beyond. Our history tells the story of one woman's dedication to Harrow’s community and how without the goodwill and dedication of local resident Gladys Janes, Harrow Community Transport would not now have the fleet of 9 vehicles based at 64 Pinner Road in Harrow which serve over 19,000 Harrow residents every year. The history has been researched and compiled as we want to highlight the hard work of many volunteers who have contributed the development and success of the charity. Our History is now available to read on our website. To find out more please click on the link
