Welcome to Harrow Community Transport
Coronovirus Emergency
We would like to reassure our clients that we have measures in place aimed at continuing to provide the best possible levels of service, whilst minimising any disruption during these uncertain times.
The health and safety of our service users, employees and partners is of the utmost importance, and we continue to monitor both Government and World Health Organisation (WHO) updates. We are taking action to comply with instructions and recommendations to safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone involved with Harrow Community Transport
With the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus (COVID–19), we have updated our business continuity plan to cover as many scenarios as possible which face the nation currently. This is a fast changing situation, and we will aim to update the plan as required, to keep up with developments.
Actions we have taken so far:
These include:
· Implementing hygiene and sanitisation procedures to reduce the risk of spreading infection, including provision of personal protective equipment where required for our staff, and a more intensive cleaning regime for our vehicles
· Cancelling all non-essential visits to our offices
· Cancelling all non-essential journeys, including Wayfarers Club outings
· Organising our resources to maintain continuity of essential services
· Offering help to organisations involved in provision of emergency support to the community
Our office will remain open on weekdays when possible, but we may not be able to provide all-day coverage. Please try to communicate by email (admin@harrowct.org.uk) or leave a phone message on 020 8427 6619.
We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, which is very much appreciated
